Passionate about photography, Teodora Codreanu lives in Romania, and work as a chemical engineer. With time she realized that she is attracted to portrait photography, capturing in her photos the candor of people, using a warm light that envelops the portrait. She believes that portrait photography is an image therapy for both the subject and the photographer.
Fine art portrait photographer, passionate about showing the finesse and charm of the human form, she believes that each photograph tells a story by capturing the expressions, personality, and emotions of the subjects.
The project "Altiţe on the Creators" ((altiţă = ornamental seam on the shoulders of traditional Romanian shirts) is about bringing to the present traditional Romanian clothes sewn after ancestral patterns by the very women who appear in the photographs. The models are people who have never been photographed, they are natural, their posture slightly shaped by the photographer.
